Responsibilities:
1. Meet with clients to determine their design preferences, needs, and budget constraints for their apartment.
2. Develop design concepts that align with the client's vision, including space planning, color schemes, furniture selection, and decorative elements.
3. Create mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas effectively to clients.
4. Select and source materials, furnishings, fixtures, and accessories that fit within the project's budget and timeline.
5. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure designs are implemented accurately and according to specifications.
6. Provide guidance and oversight during the construction or renovation phase, including site visits and coordination with contractors.
7. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful completion of projects.
8. Keep abreast of industry trends, new materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into designs.
9. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and making adjustments to designs as needed.
10. Ensure that designs comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
2. Proven experience as an interior designer, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
3. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite.
4. Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and color theory.
5. Excellent creativity and artistic skills, with an eye for detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
8. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and client preferences.
10. Membership in a professional design organization (e.g., ASID, IIDA) is a plus.
