Jakarta, October 11, 2024 – Cemindo Gemilang hosted its regular blood donation drive. This time, the event, dubbed "Blood Donor Day," was held on the 3rd floor of Gama Tower, Jalan H.R. Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, on Friday (10/4). The event was a testament to the company's commitment to helping others and addressing the blood supply shortage at PMI.

Hotlan Edward Sitompul, HC Division Head at Cemindo Gemilang, explained that the blood drive is part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR).

"Our main goal is to contribute to society," Sitompul said. "We want to support PMI and the community by donating blood. We believe that PMI is in constant need of blood donations, so by encouraging our employees to donate, we are playing our part in helping others."

Cemindo Gemilang's blood drive was organized in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). After a temporary hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has resumed its regular blood donation drives as a commitment to giving back to the community.

Through this initiative, Cemindo Gemilang has not only successfully collected a significant amount of blood for PMI but has also fostered a sense of community among its employees. By participating in the blood drive, Cemindo Gemilang employees have demonstrated their care for others and contributed to improving public health.
