The main resposibilities for Buyer Assistant Manager : 

1. Selects, and negotiates with suppliers to ensure that purchased items are comply with agreed specifications at the most competitive price with optimum quality.

2. Manage and supervise direct material spend and doing collaboration with others departement

3. Initiate short-term and or long-term supply agreement and contract with selected suppliers.

4. Coordinates with others depertment & Users for the delivery time of the critical/ major materials

5. Prepares Purchase Order (PO) in accordance with the Purchase Request (PR) for selected material.

6. Manage new item PO and its delivery.

7. Analyse company spend and create quarterly insight for better sourcing strategy.
