Jakarta, August 26, 2024 - While the KPN Sports Festival 2024 (KSF 2024) saw a successful second year of eSports, the event wasn't without its technical challenges.

Farai, the PIC for eSports at KSF 2024, shared the main challenges they faced.

"First, there were issues with the devices. They weren't really top-notch, just standard stuff. Second, the Wi-Fi wasn't great since it was shared with other people. And there were people who were hogging the Wi-Fi. We had to keep reminding the audience not to use it," he said.

Despite the issues, Farai was pretty happy with how the eSports event turned out.

"I didn't expect it to be this good. The venue on the 3rd floor of Gama Tower was perfect, it's huge," Farai concluded.

Farai hopes eSports in KPN Corp will keep growing. After seeing how excited everyone was at KSF 2024, he's even more optimistic.

Despite the technical challenges, the eSports event at KSF 2024 was a good starting point for developing the eSports ecosystem in KPN Corp. Hopefully, with improvements in various areas, eSports can become one of the most anticipated sports at future KSF events.
